I never wanted to have a blog...

...until I was convinced I had something interesting, important, different, relevant, or at least not boring to say. Well, I'm not sure that's ever going to happen so, bowing to peer pressure from two of my friends who have blogs, I've taken the plunge.

I'm not sure what it's going to be about - not entirely. But, like both of the aforementioned fellow bloggers, a portion of it will be dedicated to writing. Maybe not particularly good writing but, hey, we'll see.

So, to quote Kramer, "I'm out there, Jerry!" But relax, you're protected by more than a "thin layer of Gaberdine".
